Link must defeat evil at every turn in his perilous quest to help Princess Zelda!

Once upon a time, wizards tried to conquer the Sacred Realm of Hyrule。 The Spirits of Light sealed the wizards’ power within the Shadow Crystal and banished them to the Twilight Realm beyond the Mirror of Twilight。 Now, an evil menace is trying to find Midna, Princess of the Twilight Realm, and the fragments of the Shadow Crystal to gain the power to rule over both the Twilight Realm and the World of Light。

Link and Midna journey toward Death Mountain, seeking a power that can save Hyrule from the Shadow King。 In the face of so many obstacles, Link must steel himself to overcome his own doubts and to find Ilia and the other villagers kidnapped by the forces of evil。 But even if Link can defeat these challenges, he still has to find the shards of the Shadow Crystal。 The quest continues in the Shadow Realm…

Link qui pleure ma faiblesse vraiment

I'm an avid manga reader and this is some of the best art I've seen, but。。。 I think if you're used to reading manga, the fights are going to leave you feeling a little cold。 They're over very quickly and the blood is very light-colored。 However, the character interactions and the detail in Link more than make up for the brief fight scenes。 4/5 I'm an avid manga reader and this is some of the best art I've seen, but。。。 I think if you're used to reading manga, the fights are going to leave you feeling a little cold。 They're over very quickly and the blood is very light-colored。 However, the character interactions and the detail in Link more than make up for the brief fight scenes。 4/5 。。。more

A great continuation of the story。 The illustrations are once again brilliant and helps to see the story of the game in a different way。

The plot was more interesting than the second one。 I liked that Link cried happy tears which normalizes it。

Courtney

I was sold on more content in the already complex Zelda Franchise。

I’ve never played the game so I don’t know how Link’s adventures go but I am really enjoying these epic and dramatic fight scenes that I do not see coming! 🤩

The hero is in Green! The action sequences were kinda muddled, but I still enjoyed the depth this section added to the story and some of the characters。

The manga is so much darker and better than the game。

Björk

I realy like the point where the monster boss and link fights

This album had a lot of action, and I have to say that the art was rather unclear when trying to capture it。 More often than not, it just looked like black on white doodles, and I didn't understand what was actually happening。Link is so cute, though! And I'm really happy with Midna's storyline! I really love the adventures of Link。

I'm reading these aloud with my 14-yr-old who has been obsessed with Link for years! He binged these all 1-6 in two days, and then he insisted I read them, too。 This is my son's favorite volume。The art is amazing! Especially the full-page spreads。 But even the smallest expressions are perfect, too! I love that it gets a little deeper into the characters -- especially Link -- than the video game did。 I'm reading these aloud with my 14-yr-old who has been obsessed with Link for years! This volume of the story was really interesting for me。 As someone who has played the game multiple times, I often wondered exactly what happened from both Ilia's point of view as well as the children of Ordon's。 While we are given some explanation in the game, it was interesting to delve into other characters' perspectives, and also to see the development of relationships between characters。 I also particularly loved the artwork in this。 The art style is really beautiful and some panels were re This volume of the story was really interesting for me。 As someone who has played the game multiple times, I often wondered exactly what happened from both Ilia's point of view as well as the children of Ordon's。 While we are given some explanation in the game, it was interesting to delve into other characters' perspectives, and also to see the development of relationships between characters。 I also particularly loved the artwork in this。 The art style is really beautiful and some panels were really well done。 Some of the panels I enjoyed most were those showing Link's transformation into a wolf, and the epic battle scenes。 Finally, I really enjoy Link's characterisation in this manga。 At times he acts a little differently in-game and a little differently to how I imagine him to be。 This is the beauty of the game really - him being a silent character who you can interpret as your own。 However, some scenes in particular hit the nail on the head and really show you what is going through the character's head throughout the story。 Overall, this was a really enjoyable volume of what is a very good series so far。 It stays true enough to the game while divulging and offering more details and scenes, which allow you to understand the story, world and characters a little better。 It's action packed, fun and I think anybody who is a hardcore fan of the games would enjoy this series, so I definitely recommend it。 。。。more

*Trigger warning for suicidal themes*The creators of this manga are really embracing the fact that this game was rated T for Teens with the more mature content。 I’m enjoying it, but keep that in mind before picking these up。

Things that made me happy:1) Mayor Bo and Shaman Renado are good friends 2) Beth brings all the Ordon kids together3) Link cries as part of his healthy normal range of emotion4) After Colin shields Beth from a moblin's attack, Talo also stands up for his friends by punching the moblin5) Renado is even more badass6) There is a meaningful connection between the golden wolf and Midna, which helps explain, probably, how she's so at ease astride wolfy Link7) That reunion with EponaThe side characters Things that made me happy:1) Mayor Bo and Shaman Renado are good friends 2) Beth brings all the Ordon kids together3) Link cries as part of his healthy normal range of emotion4) After Colin shields Beth from a moblin's attack, Talo also stands up for his friends by punching the moblin5) Renado is even more badass6) There is a meaningful connection between the golden wolf and Midna, which helps explain, probably, how she's so at ease astride wolfy Link7) That reunion with EponaThe side characters get some depth! That said, the story also got very dark。 The moments we get with Ilia before she lost her memory break my heart。 It was from here that prior plot points laid down in volumes 1 and 2 started having visible and reasonable consequences。 。。。more

The next volume in the manga series that is inspired by the game。 Great read if you are a fan of the game, or if you just know of the game and want to learn more。

I liked this volume a bit more than the last。 I loved the scenes with the golden wolf and when Link reunited with the kiddos。 It was all really touching。 The only thing that I found got really dark, really fast was Ilia thinking about ending her life。。。I was surprised to find that element。Nevertheless, I’m excited for the rest of the series to arrive in the mail!

HAHAHAHA I GUESS THIS IS HOW 2020 IS GOING TO GO, Y'ALLMy children made me read this despite me saying "fine, I'll check it out but you can just look at the pictures。" I caved。 I read badly translated, confusing comics backwards。 I dramatized。 I made all the sound effects LOUDLY and finally just settled for shouting, "SWORDFIGHTING! NOISES!" I read all the punctuation because half the dialogue in this book is just punctuation: ! ? !? I sang a lot of Frozen songs at moments that lent themselves to Frozen songs。 ("STOP, Mama。")There was a lot of name shouting, kind of like Titanic。 "JACK! ROSE! JACK! ROSE! JACK! ROSE!" There was a baby cat。 There was a near suicide, which was a plot twist I didn't see coming in a comic book based on a Zelda video game and which I conveniently glossed over。 There were, oddly, some in-game tutorials worked into the story。 I'm using "worked" loosely。I was not expecting to start 2020 off this way but 2020 does what it wants and I give up trying to exert influence or control。I write all this out of a deep love for the Legend of Zelda。 Not the way the Fans™ love it but the way ENFP women love games about pretty boys running around in aesthetically pleasing and atmospheric landscapes meeting all the people! and hoarding all the things! and making friends! and helping! also cats! I did not find that charm here。 。。。more
